Megan believes in not only teaching riding lessons, but horsemanship as well. She encourages her students to have a hands on approach to their riding by grooming and tacking prior to their lesson, and caring for their horse after their lesson. Students are invited to come early and stay after their lesson to build a bond with not only the horses, but their barn mates as well.
By working with their horses on the ground, students build confidence and trust with that animal that translates to their riding. Being around horses teaches so much more than we can measure- compassion, responsibility, dedication, patience, and understanding are just a few examples.
We love seeing all of these wonderful qualities develop in our students, and pride ourselves on fostering exceptional horsemanship skills in the saddle and in the barn.
